Student Placement

AAO is one of the oldest organizations which provide settlement and integration services to new arrival. AAO is also one of the leading non profit organizations that provide student placement and co op opportunities to students. The aim of the program is to enhance the education experience through practical experience. It is designed for undergraduate students with limited work experience who have a sound academic standing in Settlement and immigration studies. Currently this program is in collaboration with Gorge Brown College, Seneca, York University and UofT.

PURPOSE

  • To provide an opportunity for students to extend their classroom learning with supervised placements
  • Assisting students in gaining experience as they make decisions about their educational career paths.

THE STUDENT

Eligible students are required to:

  1. submit an application with Resume
  2. Be selected for interview with a panel of representatives from AAO Management
  3. On completion of the placement, write a feedback report to the AAO.
